MED 501, 502, 503 Clinical Pathophysiology I, II, III
Serving as a bridge between the basic sciences and clinical medicine the course helps to make the student conversant with the limits of biochemical and physiologic responses under a variety of stresses and disease states. Emphasis is in three basic areas: abnormal, general cellular biology; homeostasis; and organ system pathophysiology. The course closely coordinates with topics in the pathology course and also with didactic material to be presented during the third-year clinical program. FA WI SP [171 hours]
