The Division of Immunology and Microbiology is committed to producing creative and productive investigators. Toward this goal, the Division supports graduate education including didactic and research opportunity to qualified and motivated students. Success in graduate studies and excellence in research depends on determination, dedication, tenacity, hard work, and talent. The PhD degree is awarded to an individual who has met all the Division and Rush University requirements. A graduating student is expected to be capable of independent critical thinking and writing as well as performing and effectively presenting his/her research.
