WebCT is Rush University's course management software system. It is a web-based course tool that can be used to meet a variety of instructional goals. All College of Nursing, Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Department of Occupational Therapy courses use WebCT, in addition to being used by other programs in the College of Health Sciences, The Graduate College and Rush Medical College. WebCT also allows Rush University to deliver some of its degree programs completely online thus eliminating the need for a student to be physically located in Chicago. Faculty also use WebCT as a repository for links and other course information (such as the course syllabus) they prefer to be password protected.
